I'm a little disappointed, but it is for the best.

I was contacted by a man who has a 14 year old orange and white cat (looks JUST like Bad @$$ Buddy) with hyperthyroidism. He's unemployed, his medical benefits are running out and has to find another place to live. He does not want to give him up, but has no choice. He's had him since he was a kitten.

My friend offered to pay for everything if I can foster him. Why not? I can't in good conscience, let this poor cat be dumped at a shelter. Besides, he's going to be on Methimazole, a topical hyperthyroidism medicine (same that Murphy was on) for it, which is going to probably going to affect his kidneys, just like Murphy. All I can do is make him comfortable and happy for as long as possible. Who is going to want to adopt a 14 year old cat?

*sigh* the cycle continues.
