Hi, this is Mona's mom, and we are grateful for all the nice replies, good thoughts and prayers coming our way from all the kind folk and animal-lovers here. We're glad ya'll enjoy reading about Mona as much as we enjoy having her in our family. All our pets were either rescues or strays, it's our philosophy to adopt and we've never been disappointed by our choices. Also, we were honored to have one our precious kitties, Annabelle, featured as COTD on Nov. 24, 2010. Mona's "Dad" is doing well so far with the chemo., but he has a long way to go. It's Stage 2, and the outlook looks pretty good, at least that's what a lot of cancer-survivors have shared from their experiences. Thanks to those who have expressed concern and thanks for the kind thoughts. The love of the pets surely does help in so many ways; we believe they are God's gifts and very special friends.
