I'm fascinated and pissed off at the same time. While I think it's a beautiful breed, I think of all the shelter animals who will die, because someone wants a designer cat and will spend outrageous amounts of money for the pleasure of saying they have one. That IS until they realize that these kinds of cats are HIGH MAINTENANCE and they are very vocal and attached to their humans.
Why can't people just leave well enough alone??

I went to the links and read that prices for a "pet" cat start at $2000 and a "show quality" cat runs higher. That could buy over a year's worth of cat food and kitty litter for my crew.
