It saddens me so to hear Phred is going though this. I really hope the blood transfusion will help.

Please Phred, get better! We all need you here on this old dirt ball!

Sending lots of love and (((((hugs)))))

This is just so sad & scary. I do hope God has plans on letting Phred
stay around a lot longer.I'm sure his pups miss him and I know we all
miss his wit & humor on PT. Prayers that what they are doing now wil make
all the difference and bring him back to good health.

I am a blood donor, and hope others will consider donating in Phred's honor next time they get a chance! It really can save lives.

    Still praying for you, dude!

When I talked to my mom, she said she had asked if he recognized people. The social worker said not real well, although when she called him Phred, and mentioned Pet Talk his eyes did seem to light up.

Thanks for the info. That he is not comatose is good - even though he's on a vent.

I just wish I had gone to visit a few weeks ago as I had first planned. Now its wait, wait wait and that is so very hard to do. from lbaker
I can only say the same thing. I should not have waited until his friends needed me to come get the dogs. There was no real reason I couldn't have gone twice. The only thing I can say in my defense is I never thought it would come to this. And the case worker said the same thing. No one at the hospital expected this.

Absolutely NO defense needed here Diana. Thank you so much for keeping us all updated.
