I always hold my breath when I look at this thread. Today was no exception. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Delilah's name. Although she hasn't been on PT dor a while, I remember her well. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so numbing regardless of their age. Thank you for giving D a happy life in your care. There are no towels to use to get up at the Bridge. I'll make sure my RB Cody takes good care of her. Hugs.

We helped our Sara to the bridge today, too. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. I pray that peace and (eventually) laughter replace the tears and hurt. {hugs}

Rest in peace, pretty girl. You were so loved for such a long time, and obviously have left indelible pawprints on many hearts. Go see my Sheba, she's been up there for a long time, and will know all the best spots for treats and good naps.

Thank you for adopting Delilah and giving her a loving and caring home. Thank you too for letting her go when she was no longer able to enjoy life. It's one of the most difficult decisions we have to make and the greatest act of unselfish love we can give our pets.
