Hi beautiful Jenni! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart! I too was moved to tears, bittersweet and happy tears, after reading your very touching story! I'm so sorry that your former mommy was no longer able to care for you; how difficult it must have been for her to say goodbye, but happily it was not goodbye forever! I know she must have been much comforted, knowing you would be in the loving care of such a wonderful family! And oh, to think that you're able to visit her at the nursing home, as well as so many other of the residents in need of your healing love, is simply the best! We can't thank your family enough for sharing you! That smile on the face of the lovely lady I'm assuming is your co-mom, brings tears to my eyes! And while you may have been an unplanned addition to your new family, as your wise mommy says, some of the best things, our greatest blessings in life, are simply that...unplanned! Keep up the good work, precious Jenni, bringing so much joy, love, comfort and smiles to all who cross your path; you truly are one in a million, and so very deserving of our Dog of the Day honors!
