Thank you all very much!
On my actual birthday, I had to work and we were swamped because of the holiday and people boarding their animals. But the night prior, my coworkers and I did some yoga on the beach. Afterwards, one of my coworkers took me to a local bar (Dunedin House Of Beers.) Completely unplanned, there were 7 other people I knew hanging out there that night. Had a blast, got a bit tipsy, and for free because everyone was buying me beers.
Another coworker made me a cake shaped like a dog.
My sister, who just had her baby, went to the grocery store and loaded me up with groceries. I got a homemade frozen pizza from my friend Alex. He just made the pizza from scratch and froze it. Now it's waiting in my freezer for me.
Just a few of the highlights, this birthday turned out to be pretty good even though I worked.
