Yes, he was the one with the URI but he had gotten so much better and seems to be completely well. Blaine said he went through the surgery just fine and I am sure Dr. Susie checked him out good since she is the one that had him for 3 days in the beginning of that URI. Blaine said she checked on him herself several times after surgery, waiting for him to start stirring about, and she saw a vet tech take the cage he was in to the back and Dr. Susie came out and told her he had passed away.. She said someone is bringing Jaz to me right now...She is awake, playing and HUNGRY!

One of the ferals that I rescued years ago had a URI but I didn't know it. The vet did know, however, and neutered him anyhow and he died on the operating table. It's so sad, Laura, b/c we try to do the right thing for them and the unthinkable happens. RIP, little Jax. You will be missed.
    Blessings,
    Mary

I am so sorry to hear about Jax. It was a little shocking to see his name in the Memorial section.

Years ago one of my sisters cats died after being fixed. He woke up and had eaten and was perfectly fine. But before my sister went to get him he passed away. They never did really know why. So sad.

    RIP Jax

I am so sorry- what a shock. I had no idea that it could happen at all with such a routine thing.
