Nor do I if it's used for food, and not just a trophy hunt. The deer population could be more under control if there were seasons dedicated to "hunting for the hungry", where the deer kills were donated to organizations that could freeze the meat and distribute as necessary. Wouldn't this be a better idea than letting the deer starve to death, or become road kill when they come out of hiding, looking everywhere and anywhere for food?
