One of my cats used to get their chin wet when they drank. I can't remember now which one but it always made me laugh when they came to me with a wet chin.

Quite honestly, I never thought about how cats drink. My only concern is to make absolutely sure that Groucho has enough fresh water for when he wants a drink. Wow, this is really neat! Too bad they didn't show more of the kitties and big cats drinking while they gave their explanation of the process.
