I was so prepared to burst into uncontrollable tears at the news of Michael's passing. He reminded me so much of my MacGyver! After reading your description of Michael's condition, there were no tears. It would have been sad if you had kept him alive in that condition, then I would have cried. You did the absolute best thing for Michael and I know he is thanking you so much for not letting him suffer. There is nothing to forgive, Gary. You did the loving thing for your dear kitty, as you always did for over 17 years. You loved Michael dearly, how could your decision be wrong? Michael lives on in all of our hearts, and that's a pretty big legacy for someone who weighed less than 15 lbs at his best. I love you Michael and I always will.

Oh Gary, so sorry to be reading this, but happy that Michael is in a better place now. He is out of pain, is moving quickly again, and is a happy cat looking down on you and the rest of the found cats. You will meet him again, One Fine Day.
