    Resting and Flipping

Heidi resting in the bed,the last one ,head is tilted, with me in the chair and flipped over in the chair, right now she is on the couch sleeping, she wanted up so I put her there, earlier she was at my feet by the computer.I had wrote the people we got Heidi from, one thing I asked is how we stop her from biting our feet, use a spray bottle, not right in her face and sternly say No,mom has done that,it works, maybe why she is on the couch now.She likes to play with leaves before doing what she has to.She didn't wake us up this morning, had a wet bed newspaper in the bed so no soft bed tonight until she shows she won't do anything in there. She has played in her bed,had chewed my slippers, not doing that now.Rememberance Day service tomorrow where we remember fallen soldiers, especially from our church,we were Red Poppies and Bagpipes will be played.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Miss Heidi, you are so adorable and the head tilt-- precious! I'm sorry that you had a wet bed; but on the other hand you hadn't had one for several days in a row, so I know you will be dry overnight again soon. Good for you for learning about the couch!

I hope we will have a moment of remembrance in church tomorrow, too because Thursday is Armistice Day. Our pastor always puts it in the order of service on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend too.

    on the couch,flipped over,in chair,with me

Heidi on the couch last night, she wanted up there,I put her there, had a snooze,on the couch last night flipped over,in mom's chair then mine this morning and with me in the chair before going to church. She was in the chair a few times with today and Mom,tonight, has been on the couch twice, she is now behind me on the floor napping. We squirt water at her,not right at her to stop the biting and it works. No mess in the bed this morning and when we went to church, she was crying at 5 this morning soon stopped, was crying as soon as I went in the bathroom. She is always so happy to see you in the morning, tail going and kissing, even for a few minutes, like Mom went out today and she came back,Heidi's tail was going a mile a minute.Once today,Heidi got a Milkbone for going out
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

I keep seeing her Teddy Bear, she really loves that bear, he heee. Gives me a big smile each time I see her and her bear, lol.

Having a puppy around again must give you and your mom tons of smiles, eh Barry? But a bit of work too. My, she is very sweet!

    Play Rester

Heidi playing with a Kong this afternoon, playing so fast she is in a blur, taking a break among the toys and on the kitchen mat in front of the sink, probably for a drink of water.Heidi had a dry bed this morning, for the 10th time in 11 days.Has got a few squirts of water for biting, sometimes works, sometimes not.Yesterday ,mom was out with her and in trying to get away from her tripped over a board in the gazebo, skinned her arm,is a little sore not too bad.Tonight,Heidi got a Milk bone for being good but later on she brought it up,may be too rich for little tummy. She has been on the couch tonight and with Mom,is now behind the chair next to me snoozing.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Having Fun and Resting

Heidi playing with the Monkey this morning, looking at me while I take her picture, resting among the toys, looking at me through the little table next to the chair in the living room and resting next to my foot.Heidi has been a little bit bad today, has done more in the house than out,was fine first thing this morning, had to take her out at 5:30,then put her back to bed, still was crying.Sometimes today, goes out and eats bits of leaves and weeds,is more preoccupied doing that than doing her business, other times she grabs at my pant leg, tonight, went to one end of the patio to the other and then in,a few minutes later peed in her,not very happy with her,is crying again at the door, she was a good girl and went.Marlene had been sick to her stomach 2 or 3 times since yesterday,Mom went up to see her today, was feeling better,no worse, pain is now all gone.

    napping ,playing and resting

Heidi last night snoozing beside the chair,at one time was right under this chair, couldn't find her, chewing on my slippers,Heidi looking at me while I took a picture, she was trying to sleep, flipped over napping in the living room, playing with a stuffy bear and snoozing between my feet.Heidi had a dry bed again so will sleep in a soft, cozy bed. This morning, was crying at quarter to 6,so took her out then she had breakfast and out again.Had a snooze this morning for maybe a hour or so,Mom had to help serve at a reception following a funeral. She ate all her supper again, has been on my lap while I was on the computer, she is now napping behind the chair. She has had plays with my slippers, likes chewing them, plays with the Kong and the two stuffy toys.

Good girl, Heidi! You had a dry bed again-- that is good news! And it sounds like you are getting your going-out, eating, napping routine down too. You are so precious! Gentle *kiss* for you from me.

    flipping,looking,snoozing,with me

Heidi flipped over down here next to me last night, looking at the camera this morning and up at me in the chair, snoozing in her bed in the living room,di it a few ties today, was tired from waking me up at quarter after 5,I got dressed and went back to be,too early to get her up,around quarter to 6,she was crying again,so got her and took her out and with me tonight down at the computer, she can't type yet.She snoozed half under the chair next to me,got a picture, something similar to what Fritz did while sleeping under the other couch down here.No mess in her bed so the soft bed will stay there. She had a couple of accidents in the house today, one in the bathroom, she still has to ask to gout from upstairs, maybe put something in the doorway of the living room and maybe that will work. She has played with all her toys ,has been out 3 times tonight, had some water,is now settled down,Mom went to a open house at a garden center west of here, something to do with Christmas. We are going to take her on short rides in the van to get her used to it so she won't get car sick.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

I can tell she's getting bigger. I have to say, she is one of the most precious little doggies I have ever seen. Fritz was so adorable too. Heidi is a little doll baby. What a wonderful time it is in Bowmanville every day!!

Congratulations Heidi on having all those dry beds. One day, you'll be perfect!! You're just being a puppy now, huh? I love the picture of her with her feet out in the back.

    In the bed,hiding and looking

Heidi last night ,head under the chair, something Fritz did under the other couch just across from this chair,in the bed in the living room and looking at the camera while I take a picture.I first heard her crying around 10 after 5,not for long but around quarter to 6,she started up again so went and got her out and took her out,had her breakfast and out again. She sat with Mom while I had cereal, she likes to bite at my feet, she was trying to bite me all day,now figure maybe she is hungry, so tonight got her food, she ate it all up and went out,had water and is now content. She had a dry bed again, but had a few accidents in the house, hasn't learned to ask to go out from upstairs yet,it will come. She had 2 or three naps after playing with her toys,is snoozing beside the chair, mom had gone to church to price things for a craft and bake sale at church tomorrow, going at 8:30 tomorrow for that.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Heidi resting on my foot last night, with Mom in her chair this morning and beside my chair a little later.mom went and helped at the craft and bake sale,Heidi and me were down here, she played a bit but slept for the most part, even under the chair. She gave Mom a great greeting when she came back this afternoon, still going after feet, water bottle not working, may try Tabasco Sauce. She had a couple of mishaps today,a dry bed again so good sat that part.Tonight, has gone after my feet outside, and Mom's in here, hope this ends soon. She had supper then was still hungry so mom gave her a little more. She had a snooze tonight, has been out a couple of times, had water, has played with the Kong, just cleaning herself now.
