Ummm, has anyone else noticed that the caption on the movie says "Caramella and the FOSTER kitties"???? So I am thinking Caramella has found her forever home since she's not listed as a foster!!!

    Welcome home Caramella!

The babies are adorable, as is Caramella. Loved hearing them running all over and seeing them chase one another!

I think honestly Laura, that if you let Caramella be adopted by another Cta Lover , you will always regret it, and always wonder where that sweet Little Cat Of The Future is and how she is doing.
Please make room for that Dear Little Awesome Kitten!!!

I got one BIG question! What would I do with her when I go back to work? She is to young and adventurous to leave at home unattended. She has knocked over lamps and half way unplugged things and could get herself in a dangerous situation with nobody here to watch out for her. I am constantly getting her off of the counters and table, anywhere that she could fall from. She does things that scare me when it comes to leaving her here unattened. I never leave her any longer than a hour..

I will not cage her for 28 days so what do I do with her?

Laura ~ A friend of mine has to leave her cats for 14 days at a time. She turned a spare bedroom into the cat room. Took off the wood door and put up a screen door. They do fine, but they are older. If something like that would work for you, maybe keep the big kitties loose in the house and the kittens behind the screen door?

I don't have a extra room or any extra room in my house as it is... THAT is the problem. I never planned on having even 1 cat when I bought this house and didn't want any extra room because in my other house I had a "extra" room and everybody wanted to move in with me because I had the room... If only I had known then what I know now, things WOULD be different..A LOT different!!

I don't have any extra rooms either. I just use what I have. I do have to do the kitty shuffle when we need repair work done but it works for the 7 of us.

I'm not ignoring the question about what happens when you return to work; I just think there are people better qualified to reply than I am.

Is there a way to make one room into the "cat room"? Easier to kitten-proof just a small area....
My cat room is still in use on a rather frequent basis even though my kids are well beyond the kitten age. It's just a safe place for them....

When mine were babies, I fixed them a box to sleep in and shut them in the bathroom while I was at work. Now, I put them in the kitchen when I have to go somewhere. I put a plastic thing over the refrigetator cord so they can't chew threw it. They have the run of about a 2 room area because the kitchen used to be two rooms.

I guess I'd say kitten proof one or two rooms for her. I've not been gone for long periods though since I have been disabled for 15 years. Give her tons and tons of toys and things to keep her busy.

My brother does the same thing. He has nine cats now. Just found two new widdle ones. He fixes a place for them in his home office until they are old enough to meet the rest of his gang. Hope this helps some.

Laura, maybe by the time you go back to work Caramella will be old enough to not destroy things...assuming she matures as she ages! LOL

Could Rie keep her while you are away?

OMG I'm literally LOL! Tap dancers! Caramella is just so puzzled and funny. Kitten play is so beautiful.
Wish I knew what to say about your leaving so long. I'd be a nervous wreck the whole time but if you can kittenproof a small area until the sitter can visit that might work. When they are young they kind of like small spaces. They grow so fast! She might be "up to speed" by the time you have to go again. Don't know the right answer.
