I'm pasting this request from another thread to help me remember what project to look for, and so others can vote for it.

Edited to add: I found it! Just type in dup15q!

My mom is working with some other people at www.dup15q.org to raise funds through the Pepsi Refresh Project in order to fund a conference so parents can learn more about this disorder and what is being done as far as treatment research.

The link to where to vote is on the dup15 page. Thank you for your votes!

Does anyone know of this organization? I voted for it because I love tigers. Sounds a lot like Tippi Hedren's place called Shambala.

I've read several posts from them and it sounds like they are in dire need of a new building or they will have to close and hundreds of animals will have to be put to sleep.

It only takes a few minutes to register and vote. Then you can vote everyday. For those of you already voting in the USA version, you have to re-register for Canada's.

I voted for Second Chance on the Canadian site. There are a lot of good projects there too. You can get 10 U.S. votes and 10 Canada votes. I almost hate to admit this but I think the #1 project in Second Chance's category is also a good one- vacations for dialysis patients and their families. Why can 't there be 2 winners in that category?!!
