It's not a disqualification, but a 'cosmetic' issue... so it's a fault, but many dals have still finished with incomplete nose or eye trim. My breeder says Doc can probably still get his championship with his nose the way it is now... but the way spots grow, it'll most likely fill in. It doesn't show any health issues or anything...

Oh ok, I was just curious.Yeah, it's usually not a health issue. Dogs that have really red noses though and if they are blotched (not spotted) is usually a sign of Lupis (Auto-immune Disease). You would know though but of course he doesn't have it, it's normal for puppies to have "butterfly" noses.
