I always felt sorry for Rhode Island, as I am sure you gets lots of political commercials for other states because you're small geographically, and wedged between MA and CT.

Too me a while, but noow I realize WHY we get those commercials.

If you live in Southeastern Mass., and you use Comcast, you do NOT get the Boston channels, you get the Providence ones! it is not an option, you just can't get the Boston news at all on your TV.

That guy sounds like a joke! Why is he wasting his time and money even trying to run for anything?

I am with all of you on those negative ads. The whole process is disgusting and it turns people off! It gives you the idea that the only choices you have and BAD choices and you have to choose the lesser of the two evils running.

I'm wearing out the mute button on my remote. I get Connecticut, New York and New Jersey ads and I'm sick of it. I must have gotten 6 calls from the same number one night. The worst part is if you're not home, they somehow leave your line open! I keep getting "Please hang up and try again" from the phone company, when I didn't initiate the call. Grr.

To all politicians: if you REALLY cared about our country, you would stop spending millions (billions?) of dollars on ads that drive us nuts and won't change our minds to vote for you. We already know who we are voting for or, in my case have voted. Put the money back in the country so we can reduce the debt or give it to low income people who will stimulate the economy by spending it.
