I'm glad that his surgery went well and that he's now home and resting. I hope he'll recover quickly and that you'll have many more years together. Lots more prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.

I am feeling a little stupid right now. I SHOULD have given the pain med last night, I misunderstood the direction. "If Jasper threw up, do not give meds." NOT, if he does not eat. So, yes, he seems a little painful this morning. And not too happy.

But he now has his meds and the healing can begin. I hope he will eat something today.

Having never gone through this kind of surgery, I have no idea what behavior is normal.

That really is some incision and I'm very sure Jasper is feeling disoriented and unhappy, but he will heal and the meds will help. Poor baby, give him a gentle hug and kiss for me.
