Yes, I noticed a little while ago. Today is my brother's 12th wedding anniversary and also one of my good friends 23rd wedding anniversary who still lives in S.C.

Noticed it when we were choosing the Pet, Dog and Cat of the Day for today! I think it's a fun thing, didn't do anything special, but I like noticing cool things like that!

David, I know your "golden birthday" is when you turn the age of your birthday, so mine was the year I turned 22 on the 22nd. I didn't know that then, but when the young woman I took care of when she was little (ages 4- almost 6) turned 20 on September 20th in the year 2000 we thought that was "extra golden!"

Just think, today some kids turned ten on 10-10-10 - how cool would that be, huh? You can pretend you've regressed to age 12 on 12-12-12!

I missed it till I went on line. A baby boy was born in Fairview Hospital tonight at 10:00. Just saw it on the news, how fun is that?

I totally missed this, which isn't like me. When I was married, I last observed the date of 8.8.88 and told myself that I would watch for things like this. Oh well.
    Blessings,
    Mary

I missed it until it was over but it sounds as if all churches and wedding venues were fully booked as so many people wanted to marry that day

Oh dear, I can remember 8.8.88 too. There was a big fuss about that one because it was the same read left to right, or right to left, or upside down. Although why you would want to do these things ....
