Hi there Gentle Ben! A very happy Dog of the Day to you, beautiful boy!! Oh, I get sick thinking of the abuse and neglect you suffered in the "care" of those dreadful people. To think you were so emaciated that you needed to regain half of your weight at the time of your rescue in order to return you to good health, is simply mind boggling.
But, in true canine fashion, your indomitable spirit and big, big heart prevailed, and finally, in the loving care of your forever family, your true spirit was able to shine! It never ceases to amaze me, the ability of our beloved canine companions to bounce back, to learn to love and trust after such a horrific start at life! You're the best Benjamin, a gentle giant among canines, and I'm so happy to know that for all the days of your life you will be loved and respected for the dear, sweet, loving soul that you are; yes, your family is truly blessed! What a life, being surrounded by so much love, human and furry; what a great family!
(Could your photos melt my heart any more? That shot of you 3 amigos heading out in your truck is the BEST!

Lots of love and giant sized hugs and slobbery kisses to you, beautiful Benjamin! I hope you and your beautiful furry sibs; your "girl" Gracie, and little sister Riley Mae, are all enjoying a very special day of celebration!(Hope it's below 70 degrees too, so you can come out and play!
