Pens and bathtubs?!

First, you need to find a place -- IN A DRAWER -- for all the pens be deposited daily.

Then you give Proton a "kitty appropriate" toy for him to play with. Of course, Proton will immediatelygo find something ELSE to play with.

I used to keep a small "super" ball - those high bounce balls - in the bathtub. My Sparkle loved to go in and play hockey with it. And yes, the 2 AM games wer ethe "best," in her mind!

Havoc likes pens, but only if he can't find a zip-tie. He doesn't take them in the tub though. He usually bats them around til he loses them under some furniture, then whines until I dig it out. I guess they like the way that the pens spin around or something.

Toby likes jumping in and out of the tub and between the shower curtain liner and the curtain. He doesn't take toys in there though.

Everything is a toy to a kitten or to some cats. My two kittens will play with anything they can get their paws on. I have to act like I'm living with permanent toddlers and baby proof my home. I keep all twist ties, rubber bands, pens and other odds and ends in a drawer so they can't get to them. My kittens also love to play in the bathtub with or without their cat toys. Enjoy Proton while he's a kitten. They grow up so fast.

Mac love to play with pens, anytime, anywhere. I remove the ink cylinder out of them and let him play with the empty case. He will play with them for hours! Of course, if I BUY him toys, it's a different story. He usually won't play with anything but catnip mice.
