I'm so, so very sad to hear of your horrific early life. It never ceases to amaze me, the ability of once abused animals to forgive we humans, to learn to love and trust again!
Thankfully you escaped the unspeakable, and were able to hold on until your guardian angel could rescue you! Your courage, your indomitable spirit and will to survive, is truly inspiring, Col. Sanders! Now finally you've found that true forever home and human, living that happy, carefree, love filled life you always deserved! As your wise, wonderful person has said, our animal companions teach us so much about the meaning of life, love and trust! That is their priceless gift to us, and your person is so blessed to have a best friend for LIFE, in you!
