    I am guessing there is a moss or lichen they like.

    I used the magnifying glass & I don't see any moss or lichen. Maybe they already ate a lot of it & there isn't much left?

    Ha ha, I got out the magnifying glass too! I was trying to figure out how they do this? Don't goats have hoofs? I have to wonder if many of them fall and get hurt or worse.

    They have cloven hoofs & are very sure footed. I have seen them in the Rookies on real steep mountains sides grazing. They do fall off & get killed. It is the life of a wild goat or bighorn sheep do our die.
