Thanks everyone! Leo went to meet the Vet this morning and got up to date on his shots. Brian, the vet, says he is a very healthy and happy little dog. He says he thinks Leo is a poodle but a chunky (not fat) north American style not tiny boned like Fifi. He barked at two other dogs in the waiting room, a retriever and a yorkshire terrier but wisely left the resident cat alone! We have signed him up for obedience classes starting soon as he obviously has not been socialised well and sometimes thinks he is "in charge"; this will change LOL!

We went from the Vet's to the town hall and registered him as our dog so now he has two new tags to tinkle on his brand new collar.

Right now he is curled up snug next to John sleeping off his inoculations but I expect he will soon have his"bounce" back!

What a beautiful story! Thank you for taking Leo into your heart and home. So neat he bonded immediately to John! I'll be that made him feel special. I'd never seen a Dog's Will before and I'm almost in tears. Wow. Congratulations again!

Thats so wonderful for you and Leo A new pup will never replace our rainbow bridge babies, but it can help us heal. Leo sure is cute, and it sounds like he's got a great new home I'm glad he's got a clean bill of health and I'm sure you guys will shape him up in no time!

I just read about your new dog and looked at the photos. Sweet! He needed a home and you needed a new pup in your life. I hope all of you have a long life together. Kay in NC USA
