Robilee you got some fabulous pictures! That one of Keegan is great, and of Tucker, and so are many of the others. It's not as fun as being there, but sometimes it's as close as the rest of us can get!

Some more great pictures! Amy I'm surprised you seen that eagle...cool!

Robin, I liked the "don't look Blitz" picture LOL! I'm also surprised you got a picture of me "not" on the ground loving on the dogs! It's pretty much my favorite thing to do at the the dog park I think sometimes I ignore the people though

Goldenlover, I'm glad that Kody is doing alright Hope you'll be able to join us again!

Monica, I hope you didn't have to study too much when you got home!

Anna, I thought you were going to say - I'm surprised you didn't get a pic of me on my butt after the fight!!! I didn't know who to grab you or one of the dogs. I didn't want you to get hurt or step on you - but I didn't want to get accidently bit either. So I just sprayed water! not very well but I tried.

To the lady who wasn't a PT member that I sprayed and was pi$$y about it - if it was YOU'RE golden - you would have been singing a different tune. Its water, not bleach. get.over.it!

Amy and Anna - tell Mark and Ralph and Bon and Roxey and Cincy we missed them!

I haven't been tot he BG park in years, but it was nice when we wnt. Downside was no source of water, and only a bench to sit on., and not much shade. Positives were that it had 3 sections, and 1 had agility equipment to play on.

Toledo keep strying to get a park, but the city counsel is hesitant. They got so far as to start taking applications, then things took a step back. I didn't apply yet becuase I wasnt to make sure it is a go before I pay the fees ($60 first dog, $25 each additional). They are also at first limiting it to the first 300 people. The original place they were going to put it is a nice park, but not too far from where a lot of the pit bull issues around town are, so I think the high fees are a deterent...maybe a steep one, I think any fees would be . Anyway, that park sorta fell apart and now they are looking for a new location.

The Toledo one has a whole bunch of rules. I was just reading about them. And expensive >.> I would possibly pay it if I was closer to Toledo and would use it more often...

I heard about one in Lima? It's on like... 1165 Sheriff Rd or something like that. I want to check that one out too.

The older man I was talking to when I first got there lives in Ada and has taken his dog to the one in Lima by the dog pound. he said pretty much same thing - no water and no place to sit. But taking water is easy enough. And a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

I'll go with the chair. I don't think i'd wanna set a blanket down on the ground knowing what all touches that same ground (and may still be partially there) LOL

Monica and I checked out the one in Lima last week. It was really nice! Lots of seating and toys, water on site (though a little warm so many bring ice cubes) and the people were really friendly. We talked to them alot and asked alot of questions about the others that came there and it seems that their application (no fee), keeps alot of the irresponsible people out. I think that would be nice if Findlay at least had an application so you can be sure everyone is vaccinated. Also, in the case of dog bites, it would be much easier to track down people who flee to avoid facing the raft. (aka Search all applications for black labs named Buddy). They also have a couple agility things- catwalk and A-frame and a box that could be used as a pause box. We had a good time with Delta and Kody and both decided we want to go back!

If anyone is interested, there is a new facebook page up for the Dog park. I believe you can just search K9 Field of Dreams and it should pop up. If it doesn't, hit enter and you should see it.

I took Annie to the Findlay Dog Park today and was UBER excited to see they had the WHOLE THING OPEN!! YAY!
There were a bunch of dogs there today and some where more rowdy than others - maybe the cooler weather. Thankfully no altercations while we were there but I was really glad I didn't take Keegan today so she didn't get bummed up again.
