Luna, you are so beautiful, and your story made me cry. Your poor mother, Gaia, rescued when she was neglected, skinny and pregnant. Then you came along, precious Luna, to delight your owner, and then you became deathly ill. Your owner is an angel to take in Gaia, and then nurse you constantly for months until you turned the corner and are now in the pink of health!

Your photos are heart-meltingly beautiful. It’s hard to pick a favourite, but I love the one of you as a tiny kitten in your owner’s arms, looking so seriously at the camera.

Luna, Luna, you are so deserving of the title Cat of the Day, and may you and Gaia have many more happy years together with your loving and devoted owner.
