I think Friday's story is awesome! I have a theory that dogs rescued from the street give whoever rescues them undying love, gratitude times 100. The are so grateful to their rescuer that the love just never stops! Aren't dogs grand?

Hi, my name is Remy and I am an Australian Shepherd. I was Dog of the Day several years ago myself (August 12, 2007). In July I was at doggie day care and obedience school with Miss Friday. It's true -- she is a quick study. And cute, too. We may even work out some play dates in the near future.

I know, too, that when she was just a pup last year, she was rushed to the emergency room and almost died. Everyone at school was very upset, but Friday pulled through!

And, as they say, the rest is history!
