Our weekend was sort of itchy. Seems our flea control med has not worked.

Poor Grandma has fleas the worst so Mommy gave her a bath the other night. It was the very first bath Grandma has ever had. At first she was scared but then sat there in the water like a queen in a bubble bath.

Yesterday mommy was vacuuming the bedroom. Grandma was on the bed and mommy was vacuuming the covers a bit. Since Grandma wasn't frightened, mommy tried vacuuming her too. Grandma loves it!!!
Mommy says every flea she can suck off is a good thing.

Awwww, Grandma! I am so sorry to hear that you have fleas. But I'm glad you enjoyed your b-a-t-h and the vacuum! I hope those pesky little critters are all gone very soon.

The flea situation is now under control. The Advantage came yesterday afternoon. I treated Grandma first then the rest of the gang. The fleas started dying almost as soon as it was put on them.

When I went in to check on Grandma a few hours after I had treated her, the bed sheet was covered in dead and dying fleas. I vacuumed them up and her too. At bedtime though, she gave me a bit of a fright. She seemed a bit disorented and did not want to lay down.

I thought it may be a reaction to the flea stuff so just kept an eye on her. She is fine today. Eating, drinking and laying on my bed like the queen of the house she is. No more scratching by her or any of the gang.

I'm glad I only used half a dose on them though.

The babies have been running through the house like loons all morning. They seem to be super charged!!! HELP ME!!!!

They are all just fine. I was a bit concerned about Chip. He was having loose bowl movements for a while but since he is now off his antibiotic that has straightened up. He is his ornery self. He earned a time out last night when he knocked over my floor lamp.

All hugs and snuggles and luvies delivered to the entire gang. They send lots of luvies to you too.

Angel and Chip and Chuck are grounded.
They knocked my floor lamp over the other night and opened two bags of kitty litter and threw it all over the kitchen. What a mess!!!

I didn't even mention the frozen strawberry they stole and batted under my washing machine. No matther how much I fished, I couldn't find it so it is now rotting under there.
