I'm glad to hear that you didn't have any intruders but tv's turning on by themselves would give me the creeps.

I do remember once my stereo turned on by itself and I think it was just a power surge. When my old tv was acting up it would also turn on by itself and then I wouldn't be able to turn it back on after it was off for a while.
