I don't think the vet cares either way, although I do have Tubby on a leash. It would be hard to keep him in line in the vet's office otherwise, and other people coming and going don't want to put up with him getting too close to their cats and dogs, so I keep him on the leash until we actually get into the exam room. Then I have to try to keep him on the table while the vet examines him because he wants to jump down and just check everything out! I wouldn't take him in the car without the leash on either because he can slip out so easily when I open the door, and I don't want him getting out without his leash on. Especially at the vet's because they are on a very busy road. You might try Noah on a leash, but a lot of times cats feel better in their carriers because they feel safer - I know Peanut does. But Noah might not mind the leash and if it removes the stress of the carrier, that would be a good thing.Originally posted by NoahsMommy
Does you vet mind if he's not in a carrier? I would love to just bring Noah in my arms and let him roam around the car, he HATES his carrier so much.![]()
Oh, and I can't believe Basil!!! He's changed soooo much!! Who was to know that cute little black kitty would turn into such a handsome gray cat!!! I've never seen that in a cat before - veeerrrryyy interesting.![]()
