I'm with Medusa, Melissa. Ziggy had a far, far better life with you than he had ever had before. He was so loved, and loved you. You did the right thing, sparing him more stress and possibly more pain.

During his last months, Ziggy had a taste of the sweet life; you gave him that, a lovely gift. You helped him feel better physically as well.

Oh, Melissa, I am so very, very sorry to read this.

So much love you and your husband gave him, so much caring, more than he'd ever known in his entire life. He knew and shared great love with you both and always will.

Oh Melissa, I am so sorry to hear about Ziggy! At least for the latter part of his life he had plenty of love and he will see you at the bridge I am sure!

Melissa, I'm so sorry to hear about Ziggy's passing. As others have said, he had a much better life in the few months that he lived with you and your husband and you showed him the love and care that he deserved.
