Hi Tommy! Greetings a very happy Cat of the Day to you, beautiful boy! It's hard to read your bio. and not be touched to tears, so moving are your dear mommy Jessica's loving words!

It's so, so painful, losing a beloved furkid. I too had a Bud, and lost him not long ago, and it still hurts, and my heart goes out to your Mom on her great loss. But thankfully during those saddest of days, in you walked, helping her heal and filling that empty space in her heart with your love! As is so often said here, we humans are as much "rescued" as those we adopt, when we open up our hearts to an animal in need...a very happy ending all around!

You truly were heaven sent Tommy, and so deserving of the title Cat of the Day! Wear your crown proudly sweetheart, and enjoy a very happy and love filled day, celebrating with your furry sibs, mommy Jessica, your entire family...hope you're spoiled to the max! Tommy, You are a very handsome cat!! It sounds as if you were "heaven sent" to Jessica after her beloved Bud died. I am sure you will have many years together.

I also would like to advise you to NOT let Tommy play with the plastic bags. They can be dangerous and I keep mine out of reach and sight from my Luke cat and LilGirl dog. I've read that cats can get plastic bags (those with handles) around their neck and somehow get strangled so please do not let him play with them anymore. Sorry if I might sound "know-it-all" but I wouldn't want anything to happen to Tommy.

Oh, Tommy, what beautiful tiger markings you have. You are a most handsome Cat of the Day!

Ask for paper bags to play with! They rattle, they last, and they won't tangle you up like plastic bags with handles. And they can't suffocate you, either. One of my kitties got tangled in a plastic bag as I was unloading groceries and he was so scared, he ran into walls and tried to jump through a closed window. It took two of us to catch him, hold him down and unwind it and it all happened in a matter of seconds. We don't want you to get hurt, beautiful boy!
