I like the diversity of dogs so much!

Kron the Mastiff, just ... wow! I bet he's good medicine for people in hospitals. I imagine he must make people smile! Especially kids.

And Daisy, get my good side - LOL! What is rally obedience? In the last picture, ears up and out- what breed of a dog is this? He's (or she's?) so pretty!

Thank you, Sandie for these pictures!

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

Rally Obedience -- or Rally O! -- has the owner reading signs along a route, and giving the dog commands according to the signs. It is timed, so this is how you learn who won. The dog is off leash, and is on the handler's left side unless a command indicates otherwise.

    So for example:
    - first sign is "START" .
    - "sit" - handler has the dog sit, then get up and proceed
    - "fast" - handler and dog run to the next sign
    - ">" - turn right

Those are the basic, easy things. It gets into some very fancy moves. I don't recall the symbol, but the handler stops, the dog proceed to cross in front, go around behind, and sit at the left side.

One o many Rally O! sites:

Lacey and I tried the basic intro course, but it wasn't for us.

Last one is an English Setter, I believe.

Good grief - that Mastiff is huge. How could anyone not smile after seeing him??? Love the Old English Sheepdog too. If I were ever to get a big dog - that would be it - and a resident groomer to move in with him too! Thanks for the pics.

What a great bunch of good looking dogs. Bet that Mastiff rattles the floor when he walks. That is one huge dog.
