I'm so sorry for loss of Buddy. You did everything you could to make him comfortable and I'm sure he knew how you loved him. You will miss him, but he is free of pain now. Keep him your heart forever.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. It's getting a little easier accepting that I did all I could for him. Even if I'd gotten him to the vet sooner, or to the emergency vet on Thursday night, I don't think he could have been saved. Thank you for your reassurance. It really helps.
