    Uhmm, it does look yummy! Even though I've just eaten, I could finish that plate also.

    Oh yum. Looks so good - and healthy too. And of course you dipped that bread in the oil and vinegar I hope!

    Yummy! I was going to ask...balsamic & olive oil drizzle? Nothing like fresh fresh fresh ingredients. I'm going to try to do this with homemade ricotta instead. It's easy to make. I've made homemade mozzarella and learned why it's $8 a lb! Pain in the patoot!

    I never knew the name of that salad! John and I have it all the time. I don't use any vinegar though. No idea why. I just make it like John showed me. I've grown basil and use tons of it. I'll try the basalmic vinegar.

    I have made that salad many a time, never knew it had an official name. As I am allergic to olive oil, I skip that and just use the balsamic vinegar, and it's yummy!

    Love Caprese salad and I make it often. It would be so much tastier w/fresh garden ingredients as yours was, though. Yum!
