I can't wait to get home Tuesday night and cuddle her.

    Bobcat says she's doing well.

Halo is a very territorial kitty. She feels it is her job to make sure no stray cats get in her yard. If she sees one outside, she makes a run for the sliding glass door and yowls them away.

On Thursday night, some friends dropped off their kitty Gracie at our house. We are taking care of her for 6 weeks until her family returns. If Halo was feeling 100% we'd have to keep them separated until Halo calmed down.

Bobcat said Halo had no reaction when she saw Gracie except for a grumpy look. Part of me is glad (for Gracie's sake) but it tells me that Halo isn't feeling great. She knows she doesn't have the energy to show Gracie who's in charge.

I'm so sorry to hear this about beautiful Halo. I could just cry.
I hope you find her a bit better on Tuesday and able to show that Gracie who's boss!

I cannot believe this is happening to you and Halo. After all you've been through with losing Kuhio.
I had planned on getting Paizly chipped after she got out last 4th of July weekend, but never got around to it. Now I'm thinking I'll just leave her be. She does have her collar with tags on at all times.
Jax was chipped at the shelter so I'll just make sure to pay close attention to that area. You can feel his chip very easily. It's kinda creepy.

I hope Halo is back to her normal self by the time you get home so she can get and give all the lovin's for your homecoming.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Just a few more hours and then I'll be on a plane back to see my baby. I can't wait to snuggle her!

Give her kisses from us! And you can tell her she's famous, I talked about her on the radio show a little bit! Sadly, it was the Sunday show, and they don't archive it correctly, so I can't send her the file to hear.

    All snuggles and cuddles delivered.

I opened some of Halo's favorite salmon and she ate most of it. My sweet girl hasn't lost her appetite.

Halo doesn't feel very well. She recovered quickly from the first surgery. The 2nd one seems to have taken more out of her even though it was a very tiny tumor.

We take her back tomorrow for a checkup. But, we discovered yet another tumor on Saturday.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Unfortunately, the cancer is back with a vengeance. Instead of one large tumor there are several smaller tumors. They cover a large area of her neck, shoulders and back.

The vet does not recommend any further treatment and we agree. This would be her 3rd surgery in 3 months. Each time one has been cut out, multiple tumors replaced it.

Halo doesn’t feel well but she hasn’t stopped eating, drinking or litter boxing, so we’ll let her live out the rest of her days as long as she’s not in pain.

Our vet doesn’t normally do house calls, but he knows how much she hates going to the white coats, so he offered to come to our place when the time comes.

She’s out in the pen lying in the sun right now recovering from the stress of vet visit. She is very mad at us for taking her back to that place. So, she’ll probably give us the cold shoulder for a few days until she gets back to her sweet, shy self.

Please keep a lookout for any lumps or bumps around the chip site. It took 8 years for Halo to get sick. Thanks again for everything. I’ll keep you posted.

    Oh, I'm so sorry.

Prayers for peace and comfort and love for you and Halo and all who love her.
