LOL, I just loved seeing all this as I caught up on the thread. I am stunned at how quickly this took off once it hit on PT. And pleasantly, stunned, I may add.

JW, you have NO idea how many folks have been touched by your story. I truly believe all the prayers reach you on some level, and that is all helping you to pull through this.

    Spur of the Moment

We went to visit my wifes mom today and when we left she stated "I want to go visit Johnny." So guess where we went? Yes we visited Johnny Walker today. He was in good Sprits and was glad to see some familiar faces. I am telling you this because when I get these pictures uploaded from the i-phone he had a message for everyone that sent him Huggs and Kisses.

    Saturday night update 7/23/10

    Hello to everyone,

I sent three posts to the thread this am however none are showing up so I will make this one really short. Maybe it is timing me out!!

I spoke with Dr. Freyda Staten, our Emergency doctor on Saturday at 11 pm and she stated that Johnny was doing fine. He is still eating pureed food. He is off of all IV fluids and medications. His vital signs are stable. He appears content and his tail is wagging. I will speak with Dr. Kergosien on Monday regarding a projected discharge date. I know we needed to be sure he could eat and drink before discussing release from the hospital. I will post again on Sunday night.

I reviewed all of the posts from where I had left off (page 8) to page 21 tonight. I also reviewed the two news stations in Baton Rouge, LA who did stories on this Friday night. I viewed the you tube video too. I will send a summary of all activity to our 13 doctors on Sunday by email and also post for our entire hospital staff on Monday am. Thank you all again for your support, prayers, love and concern for Johnny. Thank you also for all of the very generous comments about our hospital and our staff. We have a wonderful staff of doctors, technicians, receptionists and support staff of which I am proud to be affiliated with. We are honored to have been a part of the recovery and care provided to such a wonderful pet and to have had the opportunity to get to know the dedicated owners and all of you!!

Kevlin, I can tell Jonny enjoyed your visit and the snuggle time. What a joy to see his smiling face, he looks so much better.

Trish, thank you for the update. Sounds that Jonny is doing pretty well, thanks to you, the hospital and your staff. You have all been wonderful!

Jonny, keep eating and drinking and getting better! We all love you! Sending more kisses and belly rubs to you, dear Jonny!
