She looks like a miniature Pearl. That means that whatever she is, she is beautiful. My two cents, she has a lot of Lynx Point Siamese in her. She's a cutie for sure!

Hello all, and thanks for the warm welcome!!!
FYI for those of you who were curious--we have named her Kiya. It's exotic like her, and means ocean in Polynesian! I thought it was fitting.
She is adorable, no matter what she is! I had to put down my "Pixie".... Maine Coon of 17 years last summer, due to cancer....and wasn't ready for another fuzzball unti I saw her!
The mother was adopted by the lady who found them-- and her brother and sister were adopted together by a lady who showed up a few minutes after I did. I'm just glad these cuties were found in time to make it, as they all had horrible URI's....and that they were all able to have a chance to love in life--besides being feral reproducers!! I have only had her for about a week, and she is already the sunny part in every day...true to Siamese form, a talker-- and very good at communicating what she wants! If any of you are also dog lovers, I've attached a pic of her new 'mom' (who is a male!)..they are cuter than I can describe with words! Thanks again for the warm welcome---I'll post pics every once in a while to show her changes!!

Thanks! Kiya and Sidney (one of her friends) are very comfortable together! She also loves my kids (20 months, 8 and 9 years) and my Jack Russell who is 15 years old-- and she has acclimated better than I could have ever hoped for! I had looked into adopting from local rescue groups recently, and many will not adopt to families with small children or dogs, which is a shame. My kids and dogs love her as much as she loves them--and I think the animals increase the kids understanding of responsibility as well as thier love for animals (especially the baby ones!!)....both attributes they need to work on for later in life!!!![]()
As for the dogs, I can understand rescues wanting to put already fractured babies into a safe enviornment, but maybe this should be considered on a case by case basis, instead of the decision being so blanketed.
At any rate, Kiya is growing SUPER fast....and it has been a blessing to watch! She is all kid right now, and as goofy as ever! She is very loved, and I will definitely update you all on her growth from time to time! Until then... here is her favorite kid!
