Some years ago, we planted an apple tree - which has since become a "cafeteria" of sorts for deer, squirrels, raccoons....this year we managed to harvest about 5 apples for ourselves

The deck seems to be a perfect dining room for this fat little fella! It's hilarious to watch them put these big apples in their mouths and try to run away with them....their head gets too heavy and they end up tripping and rolling over the apple, tumbling with it to the edge of the trees.

Scenes like this also typically find Ritz with her face plastered to the patio window or furiously pacing back and forth.
