I'm sorry Boo's feeling so lonely without Pidge Mary. That's one of the hardest things when a furkid mourns over losing another.

Considering his age (I wish dear Boo lives many more years of course ), if you take another cat, they may not have the same bond as Boo had with his forever friend, and perhaps he would be distracted from his thoughts...I don't know.

Actually, he's doing a little better, Melissa. Thanx for asking. The last couple of nights have been relatively quiet. I think part of it is that he's lost some of his hearing. If I stand behind him and call him, he doesn't hear me. So it may freak him out a little when he awakes during the night and can't find me and can't hear me saying "Here I am, Boo Bear". I always have to go looking for him. That's SOP w/Creamsicle b/c she's totally deaf so I have one deaf, one whose hearing goes in and out and another who's losing his hearing. What a motley crew! LOL But, as I said, he is doing somewhat better.
