I'm so sorry that I'm only seeing this thread now, Jo. I'm barely on the boards these days.

Big, BIG hugs going out to you. Reading through your thread so reminded me of everything I was going through with Nakita. The force feedings, sub fluids etc.And each day watching for any little hint that she was turing a corner and maybe, just maybe, she would finally eat on her own. It's such an emotionally draining struggle.

Allie, I know your hurting little one, but if you can just try a little to eat and get past this block it will make a world of difference. Just one small step is all that is needed.

PT Prayers for a miracle for dear Allie. I wonder if the staples could be affecting her appetite? But I don't see how.

I am so sorry. After his biopsy Tigris did drink but he didn't eat in the last week of his life. I still remember Vio to come and say goodbye to him and he was under the bed and couldn't be enticed to come out for his favorite treats.
All my best wishes for the difficlut way that lies in front of you.

Johanna, I'm so sorry Allie still won't eat. It seems you have tried everything now. I hope today will be the day she starts eating.
