Digi is having a hard time holding objects as she knows shes not allowed to chew my things... so its slow going.. What I do is I place something in her mouth, hold it shut while saying hold it & praise her... I can get about 2 seconds of hold time before she spits it out lol

Thats exactly what i do with Kirby an he reacts the same way as Digi. except maybe less than a two seconds even LOL

Keep it up & keep it positive. Soon they'll understand that its "ok" to hold strange objects in their mouth when mommy says so. But touching the object otherwise is a no no.

I got her to hold a little Colman Lantern (battery powered) for about 2 seconds. i took a picture of it a while ago.. but she was holding her head down as she was unsure of what I was asking.. But that was a great 2 seconds!! hehe
