Hey Tink!!! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet girl! I am sitting here in a big puddle of mush (that would be my melted heart) after reading your heart tugging tale, and omg, looking at your absolutely precious, PRECIOUS pics! How adorable can one pup be? (Me thinks you exceed the legal limit!) What a fab life you have been blessed with, Tink! Your life passport has already been stamped with so many fab, fun adventures, but I'm thinking none surpass those simple times spent at home, just hanging with the family! I laughed out loud, picturing you and your best Budgie bud sharing some vittles! lol And oh, while you may be a wee one, even for a Chi, it's comforting to know you outweigh Dixie! Your unbridled zest for life, love of all things living, is infectious, Tink! And as you say, your fun filled, love filled life has only just begun! What wonderful, happy memories you and your humans, and Dixie, will be making over the years!

Tinkie, hi there! I am very pleased to meet you. A wee tiny dear head chi, my goodness, I can't imagine how small you are and all growed up!

Riding in mom's bag must be fun, huh? Seeing things, meeting folks who ooh and ahh over you. But best of all, you get to be WITH you mom, lol.

I loved seeing photos of you, and reading about you and your budgie friend eating dinner together, and playing tag.

You're so right, Elyse!!! We are squealing over here like a bunch of maniacs!!!! Does it get any cuter than you little sweetheart? You are such a tiny precious little baby doll. We would love to have you in our Chi brood. Our Mom says she will get another Chi if she found one like you. We all think you are too cute for words. We love the fact that you drink coffee. Such a healthy eater too. You are a wonderful little angel!!!! Please tell the family to cover you with butterfly kisses from us. Congrats on being our most adorable little DOTD!!!! your chihuahua is absolutely precious... i have two myself and i never let them have any coffee... this is what i found online: "Caffeine in large enough quantities can be fatal for a dog. And, there is no antidote. Symptoms of caffeine poisoning include restlessness, rapid breathing, heart palpitations, muscle tremors, fits, and bleeding. In addition to tea and coffee - including beans and grounds - caffeine can be found in cocoa, chocolate, colas, and stimulant drinks such as Red Bull. It's also in some cold medicines and pain killers." - they are talking about large enough quantities, but for a 2.5 pound chihuahua even a little coffee could be a lot...

and this is about avocados: "No matter how good you think the guacamole is, you shouldn't give it to your dog. Avocados contain a substance called persin. It’s harmless for humans who aren't allergic. But it’s highly toxic in most animals, including dogs. Just a little can cause your dog to vomit and have diarrhea. And, if you happen to be growing avocados at home, keep your dog away from the plants. Persin is in the leaves, seed, and bark, as well as in the fruit."
