Having just been through something very similar I can truly say I know how you feel. It is really really difficult and stressful. On the positive side, I went through several episodes where I thought Louie was at his end and yet he bounced back and was his happy self for a while. I used to call him the come back kid! So hang in there and make the most of every day - Myndi may well be arround for a long time yet.

I hope the meds help Myndi and quickly. The sucralfate is a miracle. I had Sasha on it for a long time because her pain meds upset her tummy. How awfully scary and stressful the whole ordeal was for you. Which knowing how IBS works has probably got you in knots and feeling just awful. I hope you both have a relaxing, restful day and are able to feel better. Hugs for you both. Prayers continue.

Boy does this update take a load off my shoulders. So glad you finally got to see the vet. Believe me when I say I know what you are going through, and I know what it can do to you so please get something to eat and try to relax. I hope those meds will have Myndi bouncing back in no time. So sorry this has to happen to you when you have a full plate as it is. But I sure am glad the family will be home, not the greatest of time for you to be alone right now.
I'm sure your son will understand about the birthday gifts. I'll keep praying that Myndi will be her old self, she seemed to be showing improvement even before the vet visit so I hope its a good sign.....no wonder we get grey hair...
