Monica - his class puts a HUGE emphasis on working around distraction! The classes are five days a week (But you only have to go whenever it's convenient!) and held at three different parks, so there are always sports teams, other dogs, bunnies running around, and whatnot. I'm so proud of all the things we've accomplished in the short time we've been working with this trainer!! Jasper gets compliments everywhere we go on what a good boy he is!!

The scuffle last night was really a one-off...we have a couple of dog aggressive dogs in the class, and we integrate them into the group carefully. One of the dogs who is usually very friendly was having an off night (I think because his person was just laid off yesterday and she was very stressed) and he decided he wanted more personal space.

Here's a video of my trainer's daughter working their yellow labby boy:

Rico was one seriously aggressive pupster when my trainer took him in - as you can see that's not an issue anymore!! Toward the end of class last night I walked away to sit on a bench where Rico was on a down-stay, and he came over and put his head in my lap! What a lovebug.

This is my trainer's son working with his Malinois.

These two are something to watch together. Noel is VERY responsive and a great match with Matthew. I wish I had the energy to keep up with a Mal.
