Indeed sad. I saw him in concert way back in the dark ages, when dinosaurs roamed the earth. He was awesome.

We actually still play our "Holy Diver" cd quite a bit.

You know that dinosaurs/oil power the stage shows these days, doncha?

A sad day for us Young-At-Heart fans.....

Not so sure about dating ourselves. My sister (who is 18 years my junior ) and I were having lunch at the Hard Rock in LA some 10 years ago and SHE pointed him out to me...very non-chalant..."Oh there's Dio" LOL!

What amazes me is that Richard and Jagger and still alive and going at it.
Some folks can abuse their bodies to no end and be ok and some die at 3 years of age from cancer. Life is strange yet oh so wonderful.
