If a Western woman is not allowed to wear a halter top or the like in many Muslim countries, why would France allow Muslims their own style of dress?

Yeah, well, it's illegal to practice any religion other than Islam in Saudi Arabia, so they need to shut up about how mistreated they are in other countries. I think if people want to emigrate/live in another country they must assimilate to a point. No on isn't saying they can't cover their hair (hijab.) Just expose the face. In the US, robbers, etc. wear masks. Why wouldn't one think there was funny business going on?

That's true what you say.
But the truth of the matter is that we are a giving culture, and they are a taking culture. We have to draw lines.
Integration does work if everyone involved strives to integrate.
