Then we probably played cricket with you .. our RAF/RMAF team used to travel from Kinrara near KL to play against Butterworth. Always a really fun trip We used to enjoy the fish and chips from the Sydney cafe out on a small jetty in the sea at Batu Ferringhi too!

Nope, never played cricket there at all. I think the RAAF guys did, but us army guys were always too busy.

I'm late, but since I found some old pictures of my mother, I'll post them.

This first one is me, my mother and older sister.

And these are from when my mother turned 75.




I might as well include my father who I also loved very much. He lost one eye when he was 7 years old.


And when granny when she turned 80. She sits next to her brother.
