This is a very old picture of my mum taken when she came to visit me in Malaysia in 1971. She loved to travel as do I! Sadly she died in 1981 and I still miss her every day!

Then we probably played cricket with you .. our RAF/RMAF team used to travel from Kinrara near KL to play against Butterworth. Always a really fun tripWe used to enjoy the fish and chips from the Sydney cafe out on a small jetty in the sea at Batu Ferringhi too!

What lovely pictures... and stories.. So much LOVE here!
I don't have any pictures of my mother (who died 11 years ago on her 78th birthday) to post.. Maybe I can find some film pictures to have digital copies made.
One of the nicest memories of my mother is how much she loved the music from Broadway shows. She had records of all her favorites that she played during the days as she did her housework. As my siblings and I were growing up, we were accompanied by songs from "My Fair Lady," "Oklahoma!," "South Pacific," ... many others I'm not thinking of right now. Ever since, whenever I hear one of these familiar melodies, I smile and remember Mom.
