I'm so glad to hear Pearl and Storm are healthy! You must be doing the right things. I'm just wondering how you manage to brush their teeth!

I use the rubber finger brush instead of the toothbrush that comes with the dental kit. Actually I've found that using a baby rubber finger brush works better and it's much less expensive. This way if they try to bite my finger I'm covered.

I sit them between my legs facing forward and then I lift up their lip on the right side and I brush the upper quadrant then I do the upper left quadrant then I go back to the lower right quadrant and then the lower left quadrant. I also then brush their front upper and lower teeth between doing the quadrants. I then brush their tongue too. I try to go back over all of their teeth again if they'll let me. You just have to do it quickly before they begin to put up a big fight. That's the key. It's really not as difficult as I had thought it would be.
