Gini, I'm just now seeing this. I'm glad to hear that Rascal's dental went well and that he didn't have to have any teeth extracted. I sure hope that the growth under his tongue will be benign and that you'll get your birthday wish of a healthy cat. He was probably losing weight because his gums were hurting him and his sister wasn't letting him eat. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way. Please take care. (((HUGS)))

Just wondering how sweet Rascal is feeling. Hope he is eating better! Prayers still on the way for a good report on the lump.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

Oh Rascal is such a sweet cat. He kept pretty much to himself over the weekend and slept. He ate, but not that much.

But this morning he wouldn't touch Annie and Emma's food and looked at me with a "so where is that good stuff you have just for me?"

And then he ate half a can - with me guarding his backside the whole time.

How I do love this cat!!

Thanks for asking about him and for your prayers.

Reminds me of when Bowser was with us - and needed Rx: Canned Grub to
    combat his "bladder rocks" ...
The Other Guys would crowd around and try to "help" him inhale the Good Stuff.
He could throw a body-block on Cinder & Smokey better than an NFL tackle could!

And if that didn't clear the area; he could Curl a Lip, Show Teeth,
Growwwwwl, and Gobble a Byte - all at the same instant.
    Dawg had some rare talents!

Hope Rascal continues to enjoy the Good Stuff and recover!

LOL I can just picture it. It's good to hear he's eating better.

    Update!! 4/26

I just received a call from the vet and what was removed is only a polyp!!

Absolutely nothing wrong with my boy - I just have to get him to chow down more, now that his teeth have been cleaned.

Am I ever grateful.............for Rascal's good health and also for all of you thinking about him and offering prayers.

Yippeee!!! What a great birthday present for you, Gini.

I'm so glad everything has worked out so well for Rascal, and it sounds like as long as he continues to get "the good stuff" he'll start chowing down a bit more - especially if meowmy's got his back.
